Channel Manager - Greece

Data Ally is a Managed IT Security Solutions Distributor with more than 15 years of experience in Cyber Security Industry with a strong presence in multiple countries in Southeast Europe. We provide Advanced Cyber Security Solutions that help our clients simplify our era’s complex Cyber Security challenges.

We are expanding our operations in Greece and we are seeking for a Channel Manager.

The Channel Manager, with expertise in working with resellers on Cybersecurity and IT solutions, will help grow and maintain the company’s solutions resellers clientele. The position is located at our office in Athens, but they will work alongside the Management located in Cyprus and the Sales and Technical teams in Athens to ensure the highest performance and ability levels and manage any problems.

The Channel Manager will handle the following tasks:

  • Create an action plan, in cooperation with the Μanagement, to expand partnerships with existing and prospect resellers in Greece
  • Execute the plan with the use of the provided recourses and provide progress reports frequently
  • Maintain and expand the business relationship with existing resellers
  • Work closely with resellers to build strategies that will generate new leads from end customers
  • Cooperate with other distributors participating in the sales cycle to ensure a seamless process is achieved
  • Cooperate with vendors to keep track of new technologies and get recourses that will help the sales process
  • Respond to pricing inquiries from resellers and provide assistance with tenders
  • Follow up on open opportunities
  • Use the company’s tools to register the sales process progress and provide reports to the Management
  • Track all relevant sales opportunities and pipeline reseller activity and manages reporting using the company’s CRM
  • Maintain clean and updated sales pipeline and reseller/end-user account information within the company’s CRM
  • Manage renewals
  • Conduct physical/digital meetings with resellers and end customers (when necessary) to support the sales process
  • Provide efficient solutions to problems that might arise
  • Represent the company at conferences and business events
  • Achieve to succeed or exceed the targets set by the Management
  • Work with the Marketing team to organize marketing activities, events, trainings, webinars, etc


Position requirements and qualifications

To conduct the tasks assigned successfully, the Channel Manager will have to cover the following requirements and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • Over 5 years of experience as a Channel Manager specializing in Cybersecurity or IT solutions
  • Excellent strategy and planning skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent business communication skills
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity and IT solutions
  • Ability to travel

Any of the following will be considered a plus:

  • Cybersecurity and/or IT Vendors certificates at a Sales or Presales level

Apart from covering the knowledge requirements, the Channel Manager should also have the following skills:

  • High level of problem-solving skills and logical thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in both Greek and English)
  • Excellent customer handling skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Team player with highly developed interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the mentality to take initiative and pay attention to detail
  • Passion for new technologies
